All proceeds went to the Neri/Bahlis Lab and were matched 1:1 by the CCS. Dr. Paola Neri, MD, PhD and Associate Professor, alongside Dr. Nizar Bahlis, MD and Associate Professor, established the UofC Myeloma Genome Unit. The Neri/Bahlis Lab is dedicated to researching multiple myeloma to develop personalized cancer care and identify mechanisms of drug resistance. Dr. Neri is a member of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute. She is also the Scientific Director of the Precision Oncology Hub, Translational Research Laboratory, at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
