Meet Susan Murray
My journey, as a care partner to my spouse with a rare blood cancer (myeloproliferative neoplasm), often seems like a mountain hike. We both started at the trail head with a diagnosis and medical information which seemed like a foreign language.
Our packs felt light and the absence of a compass to guide us was minimized as we assured each other “ we can do this”
The terrain of our journeys have been unique. Sometimes we are out of step; sometimes we find ourselves on detours;
Sometimes others join us; sometimes we find ourselves alone and relying on our intuition and creativity
Yet, inevitably, putting one foot in front of the other on the up and down slopes, along the endless switchbacks and reaching the level plateaus bring us back together
Wellspring programs are the viewpoints, where vista views help us discover the silver linings of our journeys, and offer us respite fellowship and perspective as we continue moving forward along our new normal life path.
